It is indicated that the agreement, designed for 3 years, will allow the Ukrainian side to study and continue the implementation of the standards and protocols of NATO states in the field of defense procurement.

“The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Norwegian Defense Logistics Agency (NDMA) have signed an agreement of intent, under which the Ukrainian side will receive methodological assistance in organizing the procurement of materials and technical means to develop the capabilities of the Ukrainian composite defense forces,” the message statement read.

It should be noted that the Norwegian party will carry out the financing of the transaction at the initial stage.

Earlier, the Stern Online portal wrote that Germany has become one of the largest arms suppliers for Ukraine. Between January 2022 and March 2023, the total cost was around €2.6 billion.
