The trailer for the horror comedy Renfield has been posted on the Universal Pictures YouTube channel. The main roles in the film were played by Nicholas Hoult and Nicolas Cage. It hits theaters on April 14.
The film tells the story of a young man named Renfield, who becomes an assistant to the vampire Dracula. The boss forces him to feed him and fulfill all his whims.
In the trailer, Renfield, played by Holt, turns to a support group and goes to psychotherapy, talking about how hard it is for him. One day, an uninvited guest comes to the session – Dracula himself. Nicolas Cage appears in his image.
In the film, in addition to Holt and Cage, Aquafina, Ben Schwartz and Adrian Martinez starred. The film was directed by Chris McKay. The comedy script was written by Ryan Ridley based on an original idea by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman.
Nicolas Cage previously starred in an ad campaign for Casablanca. The Parisian brand was founded in 2018 by Moroccan-born designer Charaf Thayer and is named after his hometown.
