The final trailer for The Son, directed by Florian Zeller, has been released. The drama stars Hugh Jackman, Vanessa Kirby, Laura Dern, and Anthony Hopkins. The film’s script is based on the second work of the Zeller family trilogy.
The music for the new film was written by composer Hans Zimmer. The drama shows the story of the main character Peter, busy with work and a new family. One day, an ex-wife appears on the threshold of her house with their common adolescent son Nicolás, who announces that she wants to live with her father. The hero will have to establish contact with his son, who is going through a difficult period of growth, against which his family life will be in danger.
The film will open in Russian theaters on February 23. It is noted that the film received many positive reviews from critics. The film had its world premiere on September 7, 2022 at the 79th Venice Film Festival.
