Russia does not recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC), any decision of it is null, from the point of view of the law.
So, on Friday evening, March 17, the official representative of the Kremlin commented on the decision of the Chamber of the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and child advocate Maria Lvova-Belova. .
This is what, verbatim, Peskov said:
– We consider the very formulation of the question outrageous and unacceptable, Russia does not recognize the jurisdiction of this court.
