The Government of the Kingdom of Thailand has introduced new rules for tourists. According to them, now all travelers over the age of 18 who arrive in the state must present a document proving full vaccination against the coronavirus.

In addition to the vaccination certificate, you can provide a recent COVID-19 certificate (not older than 180 days) or confirmation of the impossibility of vaccination for medical reasons.

Russian Sputnik V and Sputnik Light vaccines are on the approved list.

The new rules will be in force until at least January 31, 2023, but it is possible that they will be extended in the future, everything will depend on the situation with the incidence of the coronavirus in the country and the world.

It is known that some Russian tour operators have already received relevant messages.

The Bangkok Post published information about the tightening of entry rules. At the same time, such data is not yet available on the official website of the Department of Health, but an updated list of coronavirus vaccines approved for use has appeared.

According to the Bangkok Post, the move is related to fears of an influx of tourists from China to the country.
