Tennis player Daniil Medvedev lost the status of the first racket of Russia. The title passed to Andrei Rublev as he moved up the ATP rankings from eighth to sixth.
Rublev’s score was 3,930, while Medvedev’s 3,860 dropped him from seventh to eighth on the ATP.
Points Medvedev lost, losing in the semifinals of the tournament in Adelaide in Australia. Serbian Novak Djokovic won the match 3:6, 4:6. Rublev was also able to move up to sixth place thanks to the defeat of Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime in the same championship as Medvedev.
Daniil Medvedev received the status of the first racket of Russia in 2019. Before him, this title belonged to Karen Khachanov.
