The publication of the Telegram channel “Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring” says that one of the commanders of the Ukrainian national battalion “Svoboda” Alexander Polishchuk was destroyed near Artemovsk in the DPR.
Vitaly Kiselev, adviser to the head of the LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs, also wrote about this, noting that Polishchuk was a native of Belaya Tserkov and was nicknamed “Mountaineer”.
In late December, it became known that Russian army units south of Artemovsk in the DPR broke through the Ukrainian defenses and entered the city. The media wrote that the United States noted the increasing progress of the Russian forces in the fighting near Artemovsk.
