Australian actress Nicole Kidman will star in the series “Lioness.” It will be released on the Paramount+ streaming service. Variety reports it.
The program is being developed by Taylor Sheridan, best known for the King of Tulsa and Yellowstone projects. Kidman works with him as an executive producer on the project. The cast of the series also includes Zoe Saldana, Jill Wagner and Dave Annable.
Additionally, Lioness will star Laysla De Oliveira, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hebert, Hannah Love Lanier, Stephanie Noor, and Jonah Wharton. The series is about a real life CIA program called The Lioness.
Kidman will play CIA Senior Supervisor Caitlin Mead, who has been involved in politics for a long time. She is forced to balance her responsible job, married life, and mentoring someone else.
It was previously known that Nicole Kidman will receive the American Film Institute Award for Career Achievement. The award ceremony will take place on June 10, 2023. We talk about it in more detail here.
