A new arc of the Dragon Ball Super manga has already started and we know it will serve as a prequel to Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero as we will see Goten and Trunks as the main characters, but it looks like we will be witnessing something more than action from side of these characters.
On the official Dragon Ball website, Toyotaro, the animator of the manga’s current story, was interviewed and took the opportunity to reveal a few things fans of the franchise are interested in, as well as details we can expect in the future.
One of the first things he mentioned was that there would be more elements of comedy and romance in the next chapters of the manga, an aspect that the franchise would be keen to explore as it’s something that was not covered in any of the previous chapters. the stories we know.
He seems to be aiming to use some of the fresh air that this theme also suggests for a new arc, meaning he’s aiming to consider a different narrative without losing the essence of what Dragon Ball is all about.
Some are already speculating that the whole romance is about Trunks and Mai, as during the Future Trunks arc in Dragon Ball Super, the complicity that both enjoyed in the adult stage could be seen, and it will now be possible to appreciate how it originated in adolescence.
