The acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that at the moment there are no prerequisites for the withdrawal of the Ukrainian armed forces from Artemovsk. According to him, the situation of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine remains difficult, but there are no signs of preparations for a withdrawal from the city.

Pushilin also said that Russian troops are “grinding” the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Maryinka, systematically moving west of Donetsk.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine made an unsuccessful attempt to attack in the Pohovsky district of the Zaporozhye region.

The Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet in the Lugansk People’s Republic, said Igor Konashenkov, a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry.

Ukrainian air defense systems are not capable of shooting down several Russian missiles, such as Iskander-M and Onyx. This was admitted on March 16, 2023 by the Chairman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat, he also listed a number of Russian missiles and devices to which Kiev has nothing to oppose.
