A group of Finnish fighters was supposed to return to base from a mission in southern Ukraine on Friday, but members of the group were injured. The exact location of the incident, as well as the location of the injured, is not currently disclosed.
“Three Finns are still being treated in hospital, two have been discharged after examination,” the publication says.
In particular, the mercenaries are reported to have received shrapnel wounds, concussions and sprains as they ran for cover.
Earlier, Vladimir Rogov, a representative of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, reported that several dozen foreign mercenaries were killed as a result of an attack on one of their bases located in the city of Zaporozhye.
