McDonald’s is about to close in Kazakhstan amid disruptions in meat supplies. Vedomosti writes about this with reference to Bloomberg.

The agency’s sources say that after February 24, the corporation’s management prohibited local companies Food Solutions KZ LLP from buying meat cutlets in Russia. Bloomberg points out that the Kazakh organization failed to rebuild the supply chain, as buying products in European countries would generate losses.

The work of restaurant chains in Kazakhstan and Belarus is also complicated by the arrest of the businessman and owner of a McDonald’s franchise in Kazakhstan, Belarus and various regions of Russia, Kairat Boranbaev. He was arrested in March as part of a criminal case for large-scale embezzlement in the quasi-public sector.

Previously, Kid Cudi performed exclusively for fans on the McDonald’s app. After the event, the musician presented a collection of merchandising. It includes t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and caps in bright red, pink, and yellow, as well as classic black, white, and gray colors.
