Nurmagomedov reportedly made the final decision that he would no longer participate in the training process and would attend training camps with the team, TASS reports.
The agency source pointed out that the undefeated former champion made such a decision for the good of his family.
Nurmagomedov, 31, announced his retirement in October 2020 after defeating Justin Gaethje. After that, he participated in the preparation of the fighters as a coach and was present at the fights. He was in the corner of Islam Makhachev, who won the UFC lightweight title, and was also present at the fight of Bellator champion, his relative Usman Nurmagomedov.
