The tragedy occurred in the Caucasian region of the Kuban on the highway “Kropotkin – Losevo – Stepnoy” on the night of January 3.
According to the regional traffic police department, a 19-year-old driver who did not have a license was not allowed to drive a Nissan car. He skidded off the road and the car flipped over. The driver was killed and his 25-year-old passenger was injured.
In total, from the first to the third of January, employees of the Kuban state traffic inspectorate recorded 29 accidents in the region. Eight people died in them and 37 received injuries of varying severity. Also in the province there were nine collisions with pedestrians, resulting in the death of four people.
