The accident occurred on the night of January 8, three kilometers from the town of Kanishna. The 43-year-old man driving the VAZ entered the oncoming lane, leading to the tragedy. In a collision with a foreign car, the driver of a domestic car was fatally injured.
The 50-year-old Toyota driver and his 14-year-old passenger were hospitalized. A 44-year-old VAZ passenger is also in the hospital.
“Police officers are establishing the circumstances of the accident,” said the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Buryatia.
