The departure of our Chainsaw Man waifu is still painful, but now it’s a little less painful with this excellent Himeno cosplay by novitalegend (Instagram), which also recreates one of our favorite postcards of the character.
Himeno is lying on a bed between the beds of plants, holding a bouquet of flowers in her hands, which partially represent the Demon with whom she made a contract, and also mean that she is no longer in the world of the living).
Himeno wears the standard Public Security Devil Hunter uniform and also wears an eyepatch over his left eye as payment for using the power of the Phantom Devil’s right arm.
Himeno offered her entire body (and therefore her life) in exchange for using the full power of the Illusory Demon, making way for one of the saddest moments of the entire series.
