A new teaser for the Swarm series has appeared on the social networks of the streaming service Prime Video, which will premiere on March 17. American singer Billy Eilish unexpectedly appeared in it.
She, according to Collider, played a hypnotherapist who manipulates people into doing dangerous things. One of her patients is the show’s main character: a girl named Dre, played by Dominique Fishback. In the video, Eilish’s character talks to Dre and asks him about her regrets.
For Eilish, the role in “The Swarm” will be her acting debut. Previously, the singer did not participate in film projects, although she appeared in several documentaries, and also voiced herself in a special episode of the animated series The Simpsons.
The series creators, including Donald Glover and Jeanine Nabers, have not previously announced Eilish’s involvement in the project and consequently did not provide details about her debut role. It is unknown how significant the character played by the singer will be. In addition to her, The Swarm starred Chloe Bailey, Damson Idris, Ricky Thompson, and Paris Jackson. Some of them can be seen in previous teasers.
