He noted that from February 1, the amount of the maternity capital will change: for the first child – by 65 thousand rubles (up to 589.5 thousand), for the second – by 86 thousand rubles (up to 779 thousand). And if the parents have already issued the capital for the first baby, then for the second they are entitled to 189.5 thousand rubles, the allowance will be 20.9 thousand.
The one-time allowance for the birth of a child this year will be 23,011 rubles.
The minimum monthly benefit for the care of a child up to a year and a half will also be increased. Now mothers will be able to receive up to 8,630 rubles, but not more than 33,281 rubles (40 percent of average income). It relies not only on working parents, but also on the unemployed, the expert recalled.
Lebedinskaya added that along with this, maternity payments will also increase, as well as income to pay for sick leave and payments for newborns.
